National
Honor Society
Advisor: Christy Wesley
Membership in the National Honor Society is a great privilege that is available to only a select few high school students. The purpose of the ceremony is to both congratulate new members and to admonish them. Their impressive scholastic records to date have qualified them for membership. Membership brings with it the weighty responsibility of maintaining and building upon this record. We encourage the initiates to challenge themselves intellectually and scholastically, to lead their fellow students by example, and to serve their community faithfully, upholding the high standards of this organization.

Community Service Projects
In addition to scheduled community service projects, each member must have ten (school) and ten (community) service hours. These hours are earned a number of ways, including mentoring and peer tutoring. All hours must be completed for each semester in order to wear the NHS collar at graduation.
