Students are required to read and test on books.  Each grade determines the number of points a student needs, in that grade level, to attend Reading Counts activities held during the school year.

In order to receive credit for a test, students must make a 70 or above.  If they fail a test, they are allowed to retest one time, but they must wait 24 hours to do so.  Once a test is passed, it cannot be retaken.
